Why Console Customs?
Console Customs has been part of the modding community since 2003 When we began making mods and customizing the original xbox. Since then we have only grown and expanded. In 2007 we began using more of our IT background to start making modded controllers. This has since become the largest portion of our business. Console Customs has always created all of our own code and taken the time to create the best possible mods.We stay on top of any game patches to provide you with the most up to date and functional mods possible.
At console Customs we strive to provide the best customer service and support to our customers.
OK, but why Console Customs and not the other guys?
Competitive prices, Unmatched customer service and support, Customized mods, Top notch warranty's and much more. We encourage you to check out the competition, send them an email and ask a question see how long it takes them to respond and how informative of a response you get. Then do the same to us. Do they have written and downloadable documentation on how to use their mods or videos showing how their mods work? Console Customs does. What is their warranty policy? 30, 60 90 days? At console customs all of our controllers include a 1 year warranty at no extra cost. How are their products made and where are they shipped from? All of Console Customs mods are soldered by professionals with years of experience and ship from Our offices in South Carolina. When you look somewhere else you will see the difference and we know you will be back.
Warranty and return Policy
7 day money back return policy.
a. If for any reason your are not satisfied with your purchase you have 7 days from the date you received your controller to notify us that you would like to return it. We will provide you with a RMA# and other return information. You have 10 days from the date we provide a RMA# to return the product to us.
b. All items but be returned in new condition with all original packaging and documentation.
c. Refunds are processed after the item has reached our location. Shipping charges are NOT refundable and items which were shipped for free will be refund less the actual shipping charges.
d. Console Customs does not have any restocking fees.
e. Items we are not refundable include but are not limited to: LED's, Mod kits which have been installed, Video games which have been opened or any custom ordered products.
1 year limited warranty on all of our new Modified controllers.
a. This offer applies only to new modified controllers. Non modified controllers are covered by manufacturer warranty only and is the responsibility of the buyer to contact the manufacturer for warranty service. Used or clearance items will have their own warranty terms and conditions.
b. Our warranty covers Defects of the mod and the controller itself for a term of 1 year from the date of purchase.
c. Our Warranty does NOT cover conditions related to Abuse, neglect, wear and tear or natural disasters. This includes, but is not limited to, Worn or broken thumbsticks, loss of calibration, pushed in or broken buttons, damaged caused by exposure to liquids or any other conditions which are not a result of a manufacturing defect.
d. Patches or updates are NOT covered under warranty. All controllers are sold to function with the current state of games noted in the description. any changes to these games which prevent the controller from working are NOT covered under warranty.
e. Removal or tampering with any security seals will void the warranty of the controller.

What about game Patches?
Console Customs cannot predict the if, when or how new game patches will be executed. But once they are released we but all of our resources into cracking the patch as quickly as possible. In the past most patches were bypassed in less than 24 hours.
While our warranty does not cover these types of updates we will offer update services for a small fee for a period of time after any update is released.
Do you use New controllers?
Yes! All controllers are brand new from retail packaging. The only game play on the controller will be from our tedious testing procedures. So you can rest assured that your controller will have a long life.

I have an idea for a mod, can you make it?
Console Customs employs full time programmers and all of our mods are created from scratch. This means that we have the ability to modify any of our existing code or create completely new mods at cost effective prices.
If you are interested in custom services please contact us and tell us about your idea. We will evaluate your submission and can discuss with you pricing for custom work. Custom work will be subject to hourly programming rates and minimum qty ordering.
Can I purchase your Hex/source code?
No, Console Customs will not entertain any offers for code. However we offer bulk pricing rates on all of mod mod kits and chips and even additional reseller discounts for those who meet minimum monthly buying requirements. Please contact us for details on reseller rates and requirements.
Will you sponsor my Team?
In general no, Console Customs creates mods for personal use and entertainment purposes only. Use of modified controllers in any professional gaming community or tournaments such as MLG or gamebattles is prohibited and console customs does not support the use of it's modified controller products in such venues.

How "green" is Console Customs?
At console Customs we use only Lead free solder and RoSH compliant components in all of our mods. This not only helps protect our environment but also our modders while working on your controller.
We offer all of our tutorials and instructions online. We ship a small informational sheet with your product but all full tutorials and instructions are only available online. Thus reducing paper waste and also offering you high resolution, up to date, information for reference any time you need it.
